BSAS CFA® Scholarship Program

What does the scholarship cover?

The scholarship includes:

  • Registration in the Kaplan Schweser Boston Weekly Live Class
    (retail $1,099).
  • The CFA Program enrollment fee is waived. Recipients will pay only curriculum and shipping costs ($185/eBook, $245/Print and $275/eBook & Print.) The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Scholarships cannot be deferred to another exam offering.

Who is eligible?

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a bachelor's (or equivalent) degree:
    •   or be in the final year of your bachelor's degree program at the time of registration
    •   or have four years of qualified, professional work experience
    •   or have a combination of work and college experience that totals at least four years (Note: Summer, part-time, and internship positions do not qualify)
    •   If you initially enroll/register as a final year undergraduate student with a degree in progress, you may not register for the Level II exam until you have earned your degree, or obtained work experience that meets the program's entrance requirements. At the time your degree is awarded, you may update your account education information to certify that your degree has been received.
  • Understand the professional conduct requirements;
  • Be prepared to take the exam in English;
  • Complete the application;
  • Completed applications must be received by November 23, 2011,
    5:00 PM EST.

Scholarships cannot be awarded to society officers, directors, or employees, or their immediate families.

How many scholarships are awarded?

Six (6) scholarships total are awarded for the Levels I, II and III June exam and review program and two (2) scholarships are awarded for the Level I December exam and review program.
