Practice Exam Level Coordinator

Responsibilities include:

  • Review of practice exam questions for accuracy, Learning Outcome Statement and reading references and appropriate calculations.
  • Confirm that the practice exam conforms to CFA Institute and BSAS guidelines.
  • Review final draft of exam.
  • Respond to feedback from independent reviewers and edit exams accordingly.
  • Assist in the resolution of questions from candidates and societies.

Practice Exam Question Writer

Responsibilities include:

  • Create questions/item sets/essays that conform to the style, appearance and difficulty level of prior actual exams and BSAS practice exams.
  • Provide solutions for each question with identifying Learning Outcome Statements and readings, along with work shown when appropriate.
  • Address any comments from local societies and/or candidates about their particular questions within a agreed upon time frame.

Practice Exam Independent Reviewers

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying any errors and/or inconsistencies in the exam.
  • Assessing the overall difficulty of the exam.
