Consumer spending drives approximately 70% of economic activity. Homes are the biggest asset for a large number of people. An estimated 20-25% of residential mortgages are underwater. Hence, where housing goes, so goes the economy. Dr. Karl Case will present on the outlook for residential real estate, including why housing is so important to the economy and where the data indicates we are in the cycle. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
